Hopefully it will return.

Yesterday I left my coat on the tube, so today I went to the Baker St. Lost Property and placed an inquiry. I spent the morning checking email, sipping cappuccino, and surfing the web and my favorite spot (because it’s the only one not an hour away) Café Internet. I know, I know wonder how they came up with that name….hmm? After lunch we gathered as a class and went to the British Museum where there was a gathering of TONS of the most historical art I EVER seen. From the Egyptian Mummies, to the Friezes of the Parthenon, to Grecian and Mesopotamian pottery they had everything. Well, everything we approach with historical reverence. There was a beautiful cartoon of Michelangelo, one in which you can see him change his mind about the direction of two of the faces. It was also huge; I guess that’s why they’re called masters. One mention, the Portland Vase, named after the Duke of Portland, was a beautiful cameo-glass vase which is cobalt in color, and has a white frieze imprinted on it, one which we don’t know the meaning of, that really stands out against the black background. After all these museums I think I’m going to take a break and let my mind rest for awhile.

Husband has asked me, did you try to get a new coat? All of the entries I have read, and found it most interesting, having only been there as a very young preteen. I so hope that you will be able to show pictures upon your return and let us know how things looked there. I saw the gems and minerals museum where they also had on display the crowns of the royalties of long ago. Plus the Cathederal, and Robin Hood’s legendary castle area where he had supposedly roamed the woods of back then. There was a lot of stuff written about someone whom they think was Robin Hood, but they gave him a different name back then, so I am not sure what that was. My mom has relatives in England, and the cousins are all that she has there now. The children that I knew when there one summer are now married and have children of their own. I don’t recall what regions right now. But it is nice to know that you are getting quite an education there artistically speaking that is. Do hope that you are reminded of the many rich Historical Preachers who also came from England too. Keep in the WORD, it’s so vital to have where ever you are.

The news recently had shown some disturbing pictures of areas that have been greatly affected by the three area rivers that had flooded many of the homes that surrounded them and the pasture lands as well as city areas too. Please let us know how things are situation wise regarding the flooded regions and where you are situated regarding that. Thanks, T.C.
